We’re back! We’d like to cover every interior design approach, so here’s a different story from different needs in the  refurbishment work: music recording!

This ranch house is April Base, the Wisconsin studio where the new Bon Iver album “Perth” came to life. Originally it was a veterinary’s house with a moldy indoor pool backed by a giant window.
Bon Iver and his brother, Nate, found the property in 2008, just a few miles from their childhood home outside Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The space was turned into a music studio, with that beautiful hardwood gym foor procured from a Minnesota middle-school covering the pool. Here rural elements meet music needs: wood ceiling for reverberation, black curtain, rugs. We like the use of american flag, it’s appropriate to Vernon music!
